The Living Christmas Tree at Grace Bible Church was started in 1973 and has been reaching out to the people of Ventura County ever since.

Yes, it's that time of year again! The Living Christmas Tree for 2009 is in rehearsal. This year's program, JOY, JOY, JOY will tell the Christmas story with wonderful music and special dramatic staging. In addition to our talented Tree Choir , there are superb solos, sing-alongs, and specialty numbers. Updated November 23rd

Year's Events

One of two Living Christmas Tree programs in California, the Tree Production at Grace Bible is one of the oldest performances of its kind. A direct descendent of the famous Van Nuys Baptist Singing Christmas Tree of the 1930's and 1940's, the Grace Bible tree is 3 1/2 stories tall and can hold 85 singers. The cast of approximately 50 begins working on the music and staging in September and are always looking for people to help with all aspects of the production - singers, set builders, costumes. Each year the Living Tree Production Team strives to make the program fresh and new while clearly telling the real story of Christmas - that God sent his Son Jesus to save mankind from sin.
